Love is the Greatest Gift

This scripture is one of my favorites because I do believe that God's greatest gift to us is the ability and need to love. It is what gets most of us, or at least me, through each day. The one thing that many of us may be guilty of, however, is taking love for granted. We often can forget how delicate it is or how vulnerable it makes us. Love can bring incredible happiness but also unbearable pain. However, where would we be without it? It is a gift. Our job is to nourish and protect it. I am praying that everyone reading this takes the time to tell those so close to them how much they love them. God Bless...

Happy Halloween!

It's hard to believe it is already the end of October! It feels like I just put out all of our Halloween decorations and it is already time to take them down. Now it's time to begin thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas, which are right around the corner. So, before I take my Halloween decorations down tomorrow I thought I would take some pictures of Halloween at my house.

This is our Halloween village made by Department 56.

The candy store is my favorite!

A friend gave me this cute little Mark Robert's witch that holds candy.

However, my favorite Halloween decoration is my pumpkin jar bought in Old Town Spring.

TWHS Wins Homecoming Game! Woodlands 14 ~ College Park 0

The senior Highsteppers perform at the Homecoming Pep Rally!

The Highsteppers support the team in the stands during the game and entertain the crowd with an awesome kick dance that won them first place at nationals during half-time! Go Highsteppers!

Homecoming Weekend

Everyone gathered at a local country club for pictures before departing for dinner.

A party bus took the couples to dinner at Sambuca in downtown Houston.

One of the parents hosted the couples at their lake house later that night and the next day. Although it was cool and cloudy they all still had lots of fun!
