This scripture is one of my favorites because I do believe that God's greatest gift to us is the ability and need to love. It is what gets most of us, or at least me, through each day. The one thing that many of us may be guilty of, however, is taking love for granted. We often can forget how delicate it is or how vulnerable it makes us. Love can bring incredible happiness but also unbearable pain. However, where would we be without it? It is a gift. Our job is to nourish and protect it. I am praying that everyone reading this takes the time to tell those so close to them how much they love them. God Bless...
I love this scripture and your post is very true and touching.

I have a decorative tile like that right when you first walk into our house. I love it because it is God's greatest attribute:love. And I always pray that His love will fill our homes [physical and spiritual]...Blessings to you and have a great weekend. Great message.

ReplyDeleteHello fellow Texan, I come here through Spiritual Sundays. I posted there for the first time today. I am Yoli from deep south Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. I'm a single mom of 2 teen kids (Vince 17 and Gina 14). In 2 months we will be relocating to New Braunfels. God is taking us on a new adventure.
